At The Coverdt, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. If you need to return an item or request a refund, please review our policy below.
Returns Window:
You have 7 calendar days from the date of delivery to request a return.
''All discounted items are non-refundable and cannot be returned''
Return requests made after this period will not be accepted.
To initiate a return, email info@thecoverdt.com with:
- Full name
- Order number
- Item(s) to be returned
- Reason for return
Returns sent without prior email approval may be refused.
Once your return has been received, please allow up to 10 working days for it to be reviewed and processed. Once approved, refunds can take a further up to 10 working days to appear in your bank account, depending on your payment provider.
Return Conditions
Returned items must meet all of the following conditions:
- Unworn and unused
- Original tags attached
- In original packaging
- Free from any marks, damage, odours, perfume, or makeup
Items that do not meet these conditions will be rejected and NOT returned to the customer. It will be discarded or donated to charity.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
- We do not provide prepaid return labels
- We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service
The customer remains responsible for the parcel until it is received and inspected by us.
Proof of Return & Missing Items
- Returned parcels must include a note inside with the order number and full name
- We are not responsible for items lost, missing, or removed during return transit
- Refunds are issued only for items physically received and verified
If a returned parcel arrives with missing items, the refund will be processed only for the items received.
Damages, Defects & Incorrect Items
If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Clear photos of the item
- Photos of original packaging
- A description of the issue
Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be accepted.
If approved, we will advise on the next steps. Approval is at our discretion following inspection.
“Not as Described” Claims
All product descriptions, images, measurements, and specifications are provided in good faith and checked prior to dispatch.
Differences in:
- Fit preference
- Fabric feel
- Colour tone due to lighting/screens
do not constitute a fault.
Items confirmed to match the product listing are not eligible for free return shipping.
Refund Processing
- Refunds are issued after inspection and approval after 10 days of reciept.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method
- Please allow up to an additional 10 business days after approval
- Bank processing times may vary
Pre-Orders
Please note that all pre-order items are handmade specifically according to your order. As a result, pre-orders are not eligible for cancellation, return or refund once placed.
Pre-order items may take approximately 3-5 weeks to be made and dispatched, although delivery times may vary depending on production requirements. By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and accept the estimated production timeframe.
As each garment is individually made for you, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind, delays within the stated production period, or requests to cancel after the order has been placed.
Final Notes
- We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not comply with this policy
- Repeated or abusive return behaviour may result in future orders being declined
